Emissions Reduction Pledge 2020

DEFINITION: The Pledge is a voluntary target and reporting framework for the public sector and higher education, aiming to standardise reporting and encourage future action on decarbonisation. It requires organisations to sign up to a common set of principles including implementing business cases for measuring and reducing energy use, costs and carbon emissions, reporting this usage to Government, and sharing best practice locally.
