Hothouse earth

DEFINITION: Conditions arising from a level of climate change that would be deemed extremely dangerous, rendering some parts of the world uninhabitable. For these conditions to come about, scientists believe that natural carbon sinks would have to spew out more carbon than they currently  take in.
