Industrial Strategy

DEFINITION: The UK Government’s strategy, unveiled in December 2017, sets out how the Goverrnment aims building a Britain fit for the future – how it will help businesses create better, higher-paying jobs with investment in the skills, industries and infrastructure of the future.

The strategy regards Clean Growth as one of the ‘Grand Challenges’ the UK economy faces, and features a host of existing and new measures designed to accelerate the development and bolster the green economy.
