Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs)
DEFINITION: A term used under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) which represents the climate change actions pledged by countries in the lead up to COP21 in 2015. The INDCs determine the greenhouse gas (GHG) targets set by each country to hold the increase in global average temperature to well below 2C, as set out in the Paris Agreement.
