Streamlined Energy Carbon Reporting (SECR)

DEFINITION: A new set of sustainability regulations that will come into force in April 2019 in the UK, replacing the CRC Energy Efficiency scheme. Under SECR, all large businesses will be required to publicly report energy use, carbon emissions and energy efficiency actions.
