Telematics

DEFINITION: A technology which uses global positioning systems and senors to gather real-time data and location information on moving fleet vehicles. Telematics can reduce fleet emissions by increasing route optimisation, reducing idle time, identifying unauthorised vehicle use and ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
