45-minute masterclass: Streamlined Energy & Carbon Reporting (SECR) for business

Event Date: 25/09/2019 2:00 pm

This live, online masterclass helps sustainability and energy professionals get to grips with Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), which came into force in April 2019 and affects almost 12,000 businesses across the country.

What is the SECR framework and who does it affect? What exactly do companies need to report and how should they best report it? And how can this new framework be utilised in a way that drives energy efficiency improvements with economic and environmental benefits?

Brought to you in association with commercial energy consultants Inspired Energy, this 45-minute masterclass will give you everything you need to know about SECR and its potential benefits – all in under an hour.

Inspired Energy is the only Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) that has to comply with SECR. The organisation does not have to report until the beginning of 2021, but is starting its SECR journey early. During this webinar, Inspired Energy representatives will talk about the issues that they face, covering transport data, landlord properties, changing portfolios and global issues.

The masterclass will be broadcast live and will include a mixture of presentations – explaining the SECR framework – and a Q&A session – allowing you to ask key questions directly to our expert speakers. The session will also incorporate end-user case studies which will showcase the real-life impact that SECR has had so far.
